Getting started: statutory compliance checklist
- Enable Statutory compliance module for your society (Governance add-on entitlement).
- Open Admin → Governance → Statutory compliance → Set up (
/admin/compliance/setup). - Select entity type (CHS, RWA, AOA) — wizard assigns the correct regulatory pack.
- Confirm state and registration number match society records.
- Set co-operative year (default 1 April – 31 March for Maharashtra CHS).
- Enter statutory auditor (name, firm, panel year, consecutive years).
- Set committee term end date (seeds election-due task).
- Configure alert channels and escalation (T-30/T-14/T-7/T-1, overdue).
- Complete wizard → compliance year initializes with full task timeline.
- Review Compliance Hub — note next critical due date.
- Assign task owners (Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman).
- Before AGM season: fix readiness blockers on accounts finalization.
- Generate Form N pack when readiness reaches 100%.
- Publish member inspection pack (optional) to document vault.
- Generate audit handover ZIP and send to auditor.
- Upload auditor Form N-1 and signed audit report.
- Link AGM meeting to
AGM_HOLDtask; generate notice then minutes packs. - Generate Mahasahakar export; upload manually; record ack reference.
- Track Form O objections; generate draft; upload signed Form O.
- If election year: start GBE election from
ELECTION_DUEtask. - Optionally enable member transparency for read-only owner calendar.
