Does Plinth file on Mahasahakar or government portals for us? No — v1 exports packs and lets you record a manual acknowledgment reference. Auto-filing is out of scope.
Is Plinth legal advice? No. Plinth generates drafts and checklists from regulatory packs. Your committee and CA/auditor remain responsible for final filings.
Which states are supported? All 28 states and 8 UTs get a baseline calendar at setup. Maharashtra CHS has the deepest support (Form N/O, Mahasahakar export). Other states use L0/L1 packs with generic financial packs until enriched.
What entity types work? CHS under state Co-operative Societies Acts, RWA under Societies Registration Act, AOA under state Apartment Ownership Acts, condominiums, and MSCS (rare).
What is a readiness score? A 0–100% check on whether prerequisite data is complete — e.g. billing cycles issued, trial balance balanced — before you generate a filing pack.
Can I regenerate a pack after books change? Yes — with force_regenerate and reason. The UI warns if the pack is stale (GL changed since generation).
Do members see compliance tasks? Only if the committee enables member transparency (off by default). Members see key dates and published artifacts — not draft packs or Form O details.
What alerts are sent? T-30, T-14, T-7, T-1 before due date; overdue at +1, +7, +14 days; weekly Monday digest. Channels: in-app, email, SMS, push (per society preferences).
How does GBE election link work? ELECTION_DUE task deep-links to create a General Body Election. When results are declared, the election artifact attaches to the task and annual returns export.
Can we waive a task? Yes — with a mandatory reason (min 20 characters) logged in the audit trail. GST/TDS tasks auto-mark not_applicable when flags are off.
Does Plinth support MACS? In committee language "MACS" usually means the MCS Act (Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960). Plinth UI uses "MCS Act"; help content accepts both search terms.
What if our state is not Maharashtra? You still get a valid regulatory pack and calendar. Form N/O naming and Mahasahakar export are Maharashtra-specific; other states get generic financial packs and state-labelled return tasks.
