Election troubleshooting

Phase won't advance check all phase dates; prior phase must complete (e.g. nominations closed before scrutiny ends). Scheduled transitions run via advance-polls every few minutes.

Nomination rejected owner sees reason; may re-nominate if window open. Check arrears flag, term-limit rule, or credential status.

Can't nominate term limit max_consecutive_terms blocks re-election to the same post when the owner already served that many consecutive terms in committee history.

Objection unresolved Election Officer or admin must resolve before candidate appears on ballot.

Uncontested post single approved candidate; declared automatically, no vote needed.

Officer can't sign in verify email matches assignment; election must not be cancelled or closed.

Tie at seat boundary plurality tally flags tied candidates at the last seat; admin resolves in the results UI before formal declaration.

Results look wrong GBE uses plurality (top vote counts), not ranked-choice. Download the election report and compare per-post vote totals.

No reminder received nomination/voting reminders go in-app and by email 24h before deadlines; check spam and that the member has not already voted.
