When to use household help tracking
Use Plinth Household help when your society wants a shared, dated record of domestic staff and trades — without asking the committee to maintain every flat's maid list by hand.
Daily helpers (schedule: daily)
| Kind | Why track |
|---|---|
| Maid / cook | Confirm inside, out, or didn't come when pay or disputes arise |
| Driver / nanny | Log entry and exit for child safety or parking coordination |
| Milkman / laundry / gardener | Quick headcount when multiple vendors visit each morning |
Mark inside when they arrive, out when they leave, didn't come on no-shows.
On-call trades (schedule: occasional)
| Kind | Why track |
|---|---|
| Plumber / electrician / carpenter | Record the visit date when maintenance complaints overlap |
| Pest control | Tie treatment visits to flat labels for AMC follow-up |
Trades default to occasional schedule — register once, mark attendance on visit days only.
When admins need the society view
- Gate incidents — "which flat's helper was in the lift lobby at 10 am?"
- Security audits — committee asks for a roster without calling every resident
- Dispute mediation — dated attendance marks with who recorded them
Household help complements visitor passes (guests) and staff attendance (society employees). It does not replace society payroll for guards or housekeeping.
