How household help works in Plinth
Residents maintain their flat's helper list and mark today's attendance. Admins see the combined society roster at the same route.
Step 1: Register a household helper
- Open Household help (
/household-help). - Tap Add helper (or equivalent).
- Choose kind: maid, cook, driver, nanny, milkman, laundry, gardener, plumber, electrician, carpenter, pest control, or other.
- Enter full name (required). Add optional phone, flat label, and notes.
- Schedule is inferred: daily kinds (maid, cook, milkman, etc.) default to daily; trades (plumber, electrician, carpenter, pest control) default to occasional (on-call). You can adjust schedule when editing.
You manage helpers you registered. Other residents cannot edit your entries.
Step 2: Mark today's attendance
- On Household help, find the helper in today's list.
- For daily helpers, tap Inside (in), Out, or Didn't come (absent).
- Each tap calls
mark_household_helper_attendance— one row per helper per calendar day. Marking again the same day updates the state and is audit-logged.
Step 3: Admin society-wide view
Society admins open the same Household help screen (/household-help) and see all
active helpers registered across flats — useful for gate coordination and incident review.
