Why societies need household help tracking
- Scattered registers — each flat tracks maids differently; the committee has no society view
- Gate confusion — security cannot tell which helper belongs to which flat without a call
- No-show disputes — "my maid came" vs "she never arrived" with no dated record
- Trade visits untracked — plumber and electrician entries logged on torn paper sheets
- WhatsApp noise — attendance photos in resident groups, deleted after a week
- No audit — committee cannot show who marked attendance or when a mark was corrected
Plinth lets residents register and manage their own helpers while admins see every active
helper in the society. Daily marks (inside, out, didn't come) go through
mark_household_helper_attendance and write to the append-only audit log — one record per
helper per calendar day.
