What is society household help management?
Society household help management is a resident-maintained register of domestic staff and on-call trades who visit flats — maids, cooks, drivers, milkmen, plumbers, and more — with daily attendance marks (inside, out, didn't come) tied to each helper. It replaces gate notebooks and WhatsApp messages with one auditable roster per society.
On Plinth, each resident registers the helpers who work at their flat at Household help
(/household-help). Supported kinds include maid, cook, driver, nanny,
milkman, laundry, gardener, plumber, electrician, carpenter,
pest control, and other. Schedule is inferred: daily helpers (maid, cook, milkman, etc.)
default to daily; trades (plumber, electrician, carpenter, pest control) default to
occasional (on-call).
Residents mark today's attendance — in (inside), out, or absent (didn't come) —
via the audited mark_household_helper_attendance RPC. Optional phone, flat label, and
notes per helper. Admins see the society-wide roster of all registered helpers.
Part of Plinth's Community tier. Distinct from staff attendance (society workforce like guards and housekeeping).
