What is society staff attendance software?
Society staff attendance software is a daily register of who worked on your premises — guards, housekeeping, technicians, and office staff — with a single roster the committee maintains and marks each day. It replaces gate notebooks and WhatsApp headcounts with one auditable record.
On Plinth, admins build a society staff roster at Admin → Helpdesk → Staff & vendors
(/admin/helpdesk/staff) with roles such as facility manager, security supervisor, guard,
housekeeping manager, housekeeping, technician, accountant, and general. The same roster
powers helpdesk ticket assignment.
Each day, admins mark attendance at Admin → Staff attendance (/admin/staff-attendance)
using present, absent, in, or out. Marks go through the audited
mark_staff_attendance RPC — one record per staff member per day, with who marked it and when.
Part of Plinth's Operations tier. Admin-only; residents do not mark or view staff attendance.
