FAQ: society vehicle parking
Who can add parking slots? Society admins at Admin → Parking.
What slot statuses exist? Free, allotted, reserved, and blocked.
Who can allot a slot? Admins only — pick a flat and optional vehicle, then confirm.
Who can register a vehicle? Residents with a claimed flat for that society. Admins can also add vehicles.
What vehicle types are supported? Car, bike, EV car, EV bike, bicycle, and other.
Can two flats register the same number plate? No — registration numbers are unique per society.
Can residents see all society vehicles? Members can view the society vehicle list and slot inventory on Parking.
Can residents allot their own slot? No — allotment is an admin action.
What happens when I release a slot? Status returns to free; flat and vehicle links are cleared.
What tier is parking on? Community — see pricing.
Can I link a vehicle without allotting a slot? Yes — register the vehicle to your flat; allotment is separate.
