Admin: complete, skip, or reassign a maintenance task

Requires: Society admin role.

Mark a visit done

  1. Open Maintenance Hub and tap the task (or find it from the asset's schedule).
  2. Tap Mark maintenance done.
  3. Add an optional note (what was done, any observations).
  4. Submit. The next occurrence is created automatically.

Skip an occurrence

  1. On the task, tap Skip this occurrence.
  2. Enter a reason (at least 10 characters e.g. "Vendor confirmed deferred to next month").
  3. Confirm. The next occurrence is still generated skipping doesn't break the cadence.

Push a task to Helpdesk

If the schedule has auto-ticket enabled, a Helpdesk ticket already exists for the due task. You can also create one manually from the task detail if needed doing so twice never creates a duplicate ticket.

Reassign the owner

From the schedule detail page, change the assigned admin or staff member. This affects future occurrences, not already-completed ones.

FAQ

What if two admins try to complete the same task at once? The second attempt gets a clear "already completed by {name} at {time}" message no double-processing. Can I undo a completion? No completions and skips are permanent history; correct forward with a new note if needed.
