Admin: review claims and credentials

Two review queues affect who can vote: flat claims (who owns which flat) and credentials (documents required for specific polls).

Flat claim queue

  1. Go to Admin → Claims.
  2. Each pending request shows: requester name, matched contact, flat, and any uploaded ownership document.
  3. Open a request, view the document via a short-lived signed URL if uploaded.
  4. Tap Approve or Reject with a note.
  5. The owner is notified either way. Both actions are audited.

Auto-approved claims also appear here as read-only records.

Resetting a claim

If a flat was wrongly claimed or ownership changed, use Reset claim on the member record. The flat becomes claimable again.

Credential review (poll-specific)

  1. Go to Admin → Polls → [poll] → Credentials (or the credential review card on the dashboard).
  2. Each submission shows: owner name, flat, document type, and upload time.
  3. View the file via signed URL (expires quickly — private PII).
  4. Tap Approve or Reject with a note.
  5. Approved owners can vote immediately; rejected owners can re-upload.

Privacy notes

  • Credential files are never public.
  • Files auto-purge 30 days after the poll closes.
  • Only admins can view submissions for their society.

Troubleshooting

Ambiguous claim (two flats match) — reject and ask the owner to contact you; update the roster if needed. Wrong document uploaded — reject with a clear note explaining what's needed. Owner says approved but still can't vote — check all required credential items are approved, not just one.
