What is society amenity booking?
Society amenity booking is a shared schedule where verified residents reserve time slots for common facilities — clubhouse, gym, party hall — instead of calling the office or posting in WhatsApp. The committee sees who booked what, when, and whether the slot is confirmed or awaiting approval.
On Plinth, admins create amenities at Admin → Amenities (/admin/amenities) and choose whether
each one needs committee approval. Residents book slots from Amenities (/amenities) through
the book_amenity flow. Double-booking is blocked at the database — overlapping
pending or confirmed bookings for the same amenity cannot be saved.
