How community marketplace works in Plinth
Residents post and manage listings at Marketplace; admins review reports and moderate at Admin → Marketplace. Listing status is explicit — no honour-system edits in a chat thread.
Resident: post a listing
- Open Marketplace (
/marketplace). - Tap Post listing (or equivalent).
- Choose listing type: sell, buy, rent out, rent wanted, service offered, or service wanted.
- Enter title and description; add optional price (₹) and category.
- Submit — listing is active and visible to society members.
Resident: manage your listings
- Open My listings on Marketplace.
- Edit title, description, price, or category while the listing is still relevant.
- Mark sold when the item or deal is done — status becomes sold.
- Remove to take it down early — status becomes removed.
Resident: report a listing
- Open the listing detail.
- Tap Report — Plinth calls
report_listing. - Listing moves to pending_review until an admin decides.
Admin: moderate and view reports
- Open Admin → Marketplace (
/admin/marketplace). - Review the pending_review queue and reported listings.
- Approve — listing returns to active if the committee finds it acceptable.
- Remove — listing status becomes removed via
moderate_listing. - Every moderation action is audit-logged.
