Admin: moderate marketplace listings

Open the moderation queue

1. Go to Admin → Marketplace.
2. Review listings with status pending_review these were reported by residents via listing report.
3. Open each listing to read the title, description, price, category, and report context.

Approve a listing

1. If the ad follows society rules, tap Approve.
2. Plinth applies your moderation decision status returns to active.
3. The listing is visible again on Marketplace.

Remove a listing

1. If the ad violates bye-laws, is spam, or is misleading, tap Remove.
2. listing moderation sets status to removed and records the action in the audit trail.
3. The owner can post a corrected listing if appropriate.

View reports

Use the reports view on Admin → Marketplace to see which listings were flagged and by whom (per your society's privacy settings). Process oldest pending_review items first so buyers are not misled.

Tips

• Publish a notice when you change marketplace rules (e.g. no commercial broker ads).
• Moderation actions are audit-logged with before/after status context same governance standard as polls and helpdesk actions.
• Remind residents to mark sold so the board stays current without admin intervention.
