FAQ: society maintenance billing
Who can manage billing? Society admins (treasurer/secretary) from Admin → Billing.
Who sees invoices? Residents see invoices for flats they have claimed; admins see all.
Can I preview before sending bills? Yes — Preview run on a billing cycle shows per-flat totals without issuing.
What if I issue twice by mistake? Issue skips flats that already have an invoice for that cycle.
How are late fees calculated? Per cycle: flat ₹ amount or percentage; applied after due date via Apply late fees.
Does Plinth accept UPI/card? Not yet — record offline payments and generate receipts in-app.
Are receipts numbered? Yes — each recorded payment gets a receipt number on the PDF.
Can I bill per sq ft? Yes — set charge head basis to per sq ft (uses flat area from roster).
