Admin: run a billing cycle
Steps
- Open Admin → Billing.
- Under Billing cycles, tap New cycle.
- Enter Period (e.g.
July 2026), Due date, and Late fee rule (flat ₹ or %). - Save the cycle (status open).
- Tap Preview run — review how many flats and approximate totals.
- When correct, tap Issue invoices — invoices are created per flat; cycle moves to issued.
- Residents see bills under My dues.
- When payment arrives, open the invoice from the admin list or ask the resident to share the invoice number; tap Record payment, enter amount and method.
- After due date, tap Apply late fees on the cycle if your policy requires it.
During collection
- Partial payments are supported — balance shows until fully paid.
- Download or print PDF receipt from the invoice detail page after recording payment.
Troubleshooting
Preview shows zero flats — ensure flats exist in roster and charge heads are active. Issue skipped flats — those flats already have an invoice for this cycle. Wrong total — fix charge heads before issuing; re-issue only if no invoice was created for that flat.
