Admin: browse committee-visible flat documents

What you can see

Admins can read flat vault files only when a resident chose Flat + committee visibility at upload. You cannot browse personal vault files those stay private to the resident.

Society bye-laws, AGM minutes, and financial records live in Document vault, not here.

Open the browser

1. Sign in as a society admin.
2. Go to Governance → Flat resident documents.
3. Optionally filter by flat.
4. Tap Open on a row for a 120-second signed download.

Export for AGM or handover packs

1. On the same screen, tap Export CSV.
2. The file lists flat label, title, category, folder, filename, size, and upload date not file contents.
3. Use alongside Document vault exports for a complete committee record set.

When files disappear

Flat vault files are purged automatically when a flat is unclaimed (owner sells or moves out). Personal files are not affected. Purge events appear in the society audit log with file titles for traceability.

FAQ

Can I upload on behalf of a resident?
No residents upload from My vault. Admins browse committee-visible flat uploads only.

Can I delete a resident’s flat file?
No only flat-linked residents (or the original uploader for personal scope) can archive or delete. Contact the resident to remove or archive a file.
