Community marketplace troubleshooting
I cannot see Marketplace
- Confirm you are signed in and your flat claim is approved.
- Marketplace is on the Community tier — your society plan must include it (pricing).
- Refresh the app or sign out and back in.
I cannot post a listing
- You need an active membership with a claimed flat.
- Fill required fields: listing type, title, and description.
- If you recently violated society rules, the committee may have removed prior listings — contact the secretary.
My listing says pending_review
Someone (or multiple residents) reported the listing. It is hidden from browse until an admin approves or removes it at Admin → Marketplace. Wait for committee action or message the secretary with context.
I reported a listing but nothing happened
Admins process the queue manually. Allow a reasonable window; urgent issues (scam, harassment) should go to the committee on phone as well as via Report.
I cannot edit or mark sold
You can only manage your own listings. Open My listings, not the public browse list. Listings already removed by an admin cannot be reactivated — post a new ad if allowed.
Admin: approve failed or listing still wrong
- Ensure you use Approve or Remove on Admin → Marketplace — not informal WhatsApp instructions to the owner.
- Check the audit log if two admins acted on the same listing.
Stale sold items still showing as active
Ask owners to mark sold. Post a notice reminding residents to close listings when deals finish.
