Resident: save personal documents
Before you start
- Sign in with a claimed flat (required to upload).
- Personal files remain available after unclaim — you can still open and delete them without active membership.
Upload a personal file
- Open My vault (
/me/vault). - Select the Personal tab.
- Tap Save to vault.
- Enter a title and category (identity, rental, ownership, insurance, tax, receipt, move, other).
- Pick a file (PDF, image, or Office doc; max 25 MB).
- Tap Save to vault.
On first upload, read the privacy notice: only you can see personal files; they stay if you sell your flat.
Open, rename, or archive
- Tap Open for a 120-second signed download.
- Rename or Archive from the file row (active files only).
- Switch to the Archived tab to Restore or Delete permanently.
Storage limits
| Plan | Personal active files | Storage cap |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10 | 50 MB |
| Community+ | 50 | 250 MB |
If upload fails with a quota error, archive old files or ask your committee about plan tier.
What not to put here
- Society bye-laws or AGM minutes — browse Documents (
/documents) instead. - Election credential uploads — use the poll credential screen for that ballot only.
