Resident: "I don't see any documents"

Admin: residents still cannot see a published document

  1. Open Admin → Documents and confirm:
    • Published is on
    • Visibility is members (not admins_only)
  2. Ask the resident to refresh Documents (/documents).
  3. Confirm the resident has a claimed flat in this society.

Admin: changed visibility but unsure if it applied

Every publish/visibility change calls set_document_visibility and writes to the audit_log. Check society audit records for document.visibility actions.

Admin: wrong file uploaded

  1. Unpublish the incorrect document (or delete it).
  2. Upload the correct file with an updated title.
  3. Publish when ready.
  4. Post a notice if members may have saved the wrong version.

Document Vault vs poll credentials

Voters uploading credential documents for a specific poll follow a different flow. Society-wide records belong in Document Vault.
